In wireless module communication, if the spreading factor setting of the sending module and the receiving module are different, will it affect normal communication?
Next, let's take a look at the Nicerf editor
First, prepare:
1 Two wireless module demonstration boards, Xiaobian takes our company's LoRaF30 as an example, (LoRaF30 DEMO function demonstration board is used to test LoRaF30 series wireless transceiver modules, mainly for customer debugging procedures, measuring distance, etc., frequency range: 433/470/868 /915MHz)
2 Two 1200mAh electric plates with a voltage of 3.7V
3 433M straight rod antenna
Set the left transmitting module to 433.5MHz, Code Rate to 4/5, spreading factor to 12, bandwidth to 125KHz, right receiving module to spreading factor to 11, other setting parameters are consistent with the left transmitting module. When no antenna is connected,
Show as below
The editor changes the spreading factor of the left transmitter module to 11, and the other parameters remain unchanged
Show as below
It means that when there is no external antenna, if the receiving and transmitting module spreading factor setting parameters are different, the wireless module communication will fail.
What happens if you connect an antenna? The editor connects the two 433 frequency band antennas prepared in advance to the transmitting module and the receiving module respectively, and sets the spreading factor of the left transmitting module to 12, and the other parameters remain unchanged, and the receiving module settings remain unchanged. After the connection is completed, turn on the machine and witness the miracle together!
It is embarrassing. After using the external antenna, when the spreading factor parameter setting of the receiving module and the transmitting module is inconsistent, even if the antenna is configured, the communication failure still exists.
In other words, in the wireless module communication, if there is a communication failure caused by the spreading factor parameter setting problem, there is no way to improve it with the antenna.
Preferably, we set the spreading factor parameters of the two demo boards to be the same, configure the antenna, and see the final effect!
