Introduction to BT Bluetooth module and BLE module
There are two types of Bluetooth modules. The first is the BT Bluetooth module, which is the Bluetooth headset we usually use to transmit sound and audio. You can find it when you turn on the Bluetooth device on the mobile phone. The second is the BLE module (Bluetooth Low Energy Module). Our two products, RF2541 and RF2541-PL2, are BLE modules, which are mainly used in sports fitness, medical care, smart wearable devices, etc. You need to download a BLE Bluetooth test APP to search for BLE Bluetooth devices.
